Previously she worked as a quality assurance technician for the local air monitoring program with the Metro Public Health Department in Nashville, TN. Her career started in environmental education, and public outreach and education remains a passion in her work. She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from American University in Washington, DC. Originally from Richmond, VA, she currently resides in Nashville, TN. Her hobbies are camping, kayaking, sailing, and scuba diving (though the opportunity is rare in a land-locked state).
